Signs of spring in Spokane Washington:

Despite the fluke snowstorm that hit Spokane last week, it appears that spring might really be here at last. Signs to reassure us of this blessed event are:

Tulips blooming in the yard:

Children playing badmitton in the front yard:

Children playing on the trampoline in the backyard:

Little boys playing in their sandboxes (yes, we need more sand):

Other little boys, playing with bricks and sticks:What can I say? He's number 6!

And Noah, barely tolerating his sister's soccer game by "helping" the referee with the flags:

Yes, that glorious season is upon us! And after a long, cold, snowy winter, we could not be happier. We're pulling out the flip flops and saying goodbye to the snow pants, coats, hats and gloves, not to be seen again for many, many months. Let's break out the bbq and celebrate!

Ahh!! Spring at last! I know that is a welcome sight after all the snow you had this last winter.

Resorting to bricks for toys. Perhaps you want him to have a construction job or be an architect?
