What do you think?

Being the entrepenuer that I am, I have an idea to make some money on the side. One of our favorite shows around here is Jon and Kate Plus Eight, a TLC show that chronicles the life of a mom and dad with a set of twins and a set of sextuplets. I've noticed that Kate has a full staff of helpers, to include nannies, and they go on one adventure after another, all in the name of TV entertainment.

I've tried to explain to my kids that real families aren't like that, that Jon and Kate get a lot of that stuff for free. But, let's face it... I'd like a nanny. I'd like to go to Disneyland and all the other places they get to go. There are also other perks. People tend to move aside for a TV crew, so they get lots of special treatment, lots of free products in exchange for endorsements. Parks shut down in their behalf, allowing them to be the only ones there. Seriously, it's like one big party after another on that show. While we can do many of the things on that show, we certainly can't do them every day because Jeremy has a J-O-B. I'm not sure Jon has a job. Who has time for a job, afterall, when they have a show to produce? And therin lies our problem, but I have a solution...

Wanting to do my part to entertain America, I've thought of a show I'd like to do: Jeremy and Laura Plus Six More-a. What do you think? Think TLC would buy it? I'm working on the pilot. I think we have plenty of quirky happenings in our house, lots to laugh at and maybe something to learn from. Tell me what you think...

And yes, I am kidding. But it would be kinda cool, huh?

Whitney loves that show.

I don't think your show would have a high rating because you all get along and there isn't a lot of hitting of each other. Those kids on the show seem to like to hit and complain all the time.

LOL! It would definitely be entertaining! Your girls have made me laugh A LOT! Like right now I'm thinking of Amanda's Nacho Libra impression and laughing out loud! Too funny! I think the show is a great idea!

you couldn't pay me enough money to have camera crews in my house. Besides which fact, they'd leave with emotional trauma and they'd never air us. :)
