Luckily, Grandma paid for it. And really, it was a very cool experience for the girls to be able to stuff their own stuffed animals and pick out clothes. Unfortunately, we had to do this the day after Christmas so that Grandma could do it with them before heading back home and that meant a two hour wait in the store! But we knew that would happen, so we made sure we brought extra patience and ended up having a very enjoyable girls-day-out:

Now the girls are proud owners of a build-a-bear, but what's even more important is the memories that they've made with Grandma. Those are priceless! Thanks Grandma, for the fun afternoon!

The look and excitement on their little faces was more than thanks enough. And dont forget that they also named their bears and got a birth certificate. Sarah named her bear Jaycee and Hannah named her rabbit Libby. What a fun day it was, in spite of the long lines. A memory we will all have forever!!

Build a Bear is a fun experience but yes, very expensive!! We got Paige one before we moved from Milwaukee. It was a Green Bay Packers bear that we named Millie Milwaukee.
How fun for your girls to do that with Grandma. Glad you brought the extra patient, I'm sure you needed it with the crowds of people. :-)
